Rafting the Inn

Rafting Scuol, Engadin. The best in Switzerland

Situated in the south-eastern corner of Switzerland the magnificent Engadin Valley is home to one of the best rafting rivers in Europe, the Inn. Springing from the glaciers of the Bernina Range that surround the alpine resort of St Moritz, the Inn has cut a series of spectacular gorges through the thickly forested valley. This series of gorges form the white-water challenges that make the Inn so attractive to kayak and rafting enthusiasts the world over.

Engadin Adventure is the premier rafting operator on the Inn and has built up a reputation over the years as a reliable and safe company that has transported thousands of guests on the river. The white-water runs of the Inn range in difficulty from sedate Class I, suitable for family trips, to Class IV non-stop action on the upper gorge. The three sections that are run by Engadin Adventure are the Giarsun Gorge, the Scuol Gorge and the Martina section, each having it's own character and offering a unique river experience.

The Engadin is not only famous for its breathtaking alpine landscapes, but also for the ancient villages found along the valley that are home to Romanisch culture and traditions that have survived across the centuries. Rafting with Engadin Adventure is not just a river trip on one of the most beautiful and wild rivers of Switzerland, but a chance to visit one the last unspoiled alpine valleys of Europe.

The 2011 rafting season starts on the 7th of May and runs through until the 31 of September.
