Getting here from there

Getting to Scuol is relatively easy (there is only one road through the valley), however being hidden away in the middle of the European Alps means that it may take a while. Tucked away in the south-eastern corner of Switzerland, the Engadin is most famous for the village situated at the head of the valley, St Moritz, the Bernina Alps that tower over the village are the source of the Inn river. Scuol is situated 60km down the valley in the lower Engadin.

By car, Scuol is about three hours from, Zurich, Munich, Milan and Salzburg, you can find the best route at viamichelin.com

You can get to Scuol by train from all the major centres as well. Trains depart from the Zurich Main Station hourly and you can find the timetable at sbb.ch

Our trip departure times are based on the Rhaetische trains timetable, so our morning trips depart meet at 10:20 and our afternoon trips at 13:20.

Finding us in Scuol

As noted above if you are arriving by train we can pick you up at the station, if you are driving into Scuol or already here then here are the directions. When arriving by car, turn down the hill at the roundabout on the main bypass (there is a rafting sign there), take the next right (there is also a sign here), then turn right into the carpark after 100 meters and stop in front of the bright red boats.

If you are on foot or travelling by bike then make your way to the Post Office, once there, walk or ride in the direction of St Moritz (up the valley) some 150 meters (you will walk past a lampost with a rafting sign on it) and turn right into the carpark with the bright red boats.
