The scooter trail starts at the mountain station of the Motta Naluns ski lift at an altitude of some 2'100 meters above sea level. From the main building the trail leads off in a westerly direction. After a short gentle climb the trail sarts decending through alpine meadows and forests past the Prui restaurant and on to Ftan. Please be careful here as local farmers often use the trail when collecting hay during the summer. Just before reaching the base station of the Ftan ski lift the trail turns left and runs through the ancient village of Ftan Pitschen, you can stop at any one of the fountains here and enjoy some fresh spring water. From Ftan the trail traverses back towards Scuol narrowing and getting a bit steeper, watch out for sharp turns on thsi section. Above Scuol the trail zig-zags down to the ski-lift base station where you return your scooter and helmet.

The scooter trail is some 10 kilometers (6 miles) in length and it takes about an hour from start to finish.
