First invented over 100 years ago electric bikes have long been the preffered method of transport for your average nutty professor...no longer. Recent advances in battery and electric motor technology and seen the electric become a more practical mode of transport that is becoming ever more popular.

The BIKESHOPSCUOL has a the new Bionix-Elektro-Bike-System. Unlike other other systems that are delivered complete as part of an already assembled bike the Bionix-Elektro-Bike-System, which consists of a battery, a wheel motor and controller can be mounted on just about any bike in the Bixs range. This allows you to purchase the bike of your choice and the pimp it with an electric motor.

If you are interested in the Bionix-Elektro-Bike-System you can try one of our electro rental bikes, at our bikeshop you will find information on suitable electro bike trips in the region. Our bikes have a range of about 40 to 60 kiolometers depending on factors such as rider weight, trail steepness and battery use. If you are planning a longer trip you can take a battery charger in order to recharge the battery at regular intervals.
