A full day of rafting on the Inn is undoubtably the best way to experience this superb alpine river. A full day trip includes running the Scuol gorge in the morning and the spectacular Giarsun gorge in the afternoon; two of the best white-water runs in Europe.

This trip includes a barbecue lunch and a well deserved beer or wine as aprés raft. The meeting time for this trip is at 10:20 in the morning at our rafting base near the centre of Scuol. After being greeted by your guides customers are given neopren booties, a wetsuit, a neopren jacket, a lifejacket and a helmet, after getting changed there is a safety-talk before we depart for the put-in some 5 kilometers up the valley. At the put-in there is further paddle and safety traing before we get on the water and raft 9 kilometers to the Pradella Lake below Scuol.

From Pradella we travel back to the rafting base for a barbecue lunch and non-alchoholic drinks. After lunch we drive 20 minutes up the valley once again, this time to the village of Susch, where we put in for the run through the Giarsun gorge. The initial section is very scenic and interspersed with some enjoyable rapids, however after some 40 minutes the valley narrows and the river drops into the Giarsun gorge where each challenging rapid is followed by the next. The action doe not let up until we reach the Ardez bridge, our take-out, after which we make our way back to the rafting base in Scuol for a hard earned beer.

New in 2011 - Rent a GOPRO - Rafting is a great day out and everyone wants to take home great memories. Engadin Adventure now gives you the chance to be your own adventure cameraman with a GOPRO waterproof point of view camera. With this camera you can record the action close-up and capture unique footage which you can later edit or post. We will burn your film onto a CD for you at the end of the trip so that you can take your action with you when you go. Rental for a day trip is SFr 50.- and for half-day SFr 30.- (including CD)
